MY PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY

Besides being a veteran world budget traveler and former Program Manager for a national broadcast network, HDNet (now AXS.tv) it was through this tough decision to leave behind a long-standing 12-year career with a company that I truly enjoyed working for, that by pursuing my dream of traveling round the world without any time limitation or specific plan, it is with this freedom and experience, especially while living in what many may consider to be some of the poorest countries in the world, that my desire for compassion balanced with an entrepreneurial spirit is something I would like to contribute throughout my life. It was through this stage of maturity in my life that I have realized the value in both what I can offer others, as well as, what I hope to achieve that is far-more reaching than just myself, but I hope to help effectively change people's lives.

WESTERN BUSINESS SUCCESS COACH
This has become a relatively new term, and through discussion with a great friend and executive for his company (that unfortunately I cannot name at this moment due to confidentiality reasons), but I feel that through my professional experience in both broadcast television, hostel / guest house management, owning several of my own businesses, working as a professional ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher and Private Tutor, as well as continually adding more experiences to my growing resume, I feel extremely confident in motivating and inspiring others to achieve goals on a professional level. I feel that there countless people to name that I have learned from professionally beginning with; the former President of our network, Mark Cuban (yes, the eccentric billionaire, NBA owner of the Dallas Mavericks (#mavs), investor on the ABC program Shark Tank and various owner of other entrepreneurial businesses), along with Philip Garvin former Chief Operating Officer (COO) of HDNet, General Manager and Co-Owner of Mobile TV Group (#MTVG), and CEO of Colorado Studios, my previous boss, Rachael Weaver, former Senior Vice President of Network Programming for HDNet/AXStv), and the list continues.

While I often feel as though my life has been an anomaly thus far—beginning a professional career at the age of 18, purchasing my first home at the age of 20, taking my first solo backpacking trip to Europe at the age of 21, and finally retiring from a promising 12-year career in broadcast television to pursue my lifelong dream of traveling the world.
