To the lover of wilderness, Alaska is one of the most wonderful countries in the world. – John Muir

Yes, first of all I realize that the quote from the author is not accurate by calling Alaska a country of the world, however, I did find it fitting for this particular blog topic. Well, after spending four days in Los Angeles, my flight route that helped me to arrive–not only for the first time, but also to step foot in the largest state of the U.S., Alaska! I departed Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on American Airlines flight US622 at 12:46pm on May 4th and took me to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) in Arizona where I arrived at 2:12pm and had about a three-hour layover, before flying directly to Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) arriving just after 10pm and have made the decision to just try and sleep at the airport since my final flight will be departing on May 5th at 7:30am bound for Kodiak Benny Benson State Airport (ADQ) arriving about 8:42am.
