How quickly time passes...I still cannot believe that it's already February 1st! It feels as though just yesterday I was basking in the warmth of the summer sun, relishing in this idea of setting out on the adventure of what this great big wonderful world has to offer. Of course these thoughts would revert back on the eve of when Denver is supposed to be buried with 6 to 12 inches of snow tomorrow, but sitting here alone I can smile at the idea of exchanging these cold nights for the warm ocean breezes and I cannot wait to bury my toes into a pile of white sand all while listening to the tide of the ocean roll in over and over. I know many of my friends and coworkers would like to slap for this, but I'll tell you what, I'd just keep on grinning. I know that I would like to write some more tonight but am afraid that as I'm in the final month as much as I was hoping to relax a little bit having my house rented, most of my large items sold, and even most all of my gear purchased, there is still that endless and growing list that I can't ignore. I also realize that most people are waiting to check in on these blogs after I depart anyways, but I hope that as I am able to express the thoughts and feelings that flow from my mind, it will help others to get both a better understanding of the person I am and the person I hope to become from these experiences from round the world. I also want to continue to encourage others to find their dream and passion if they feel that it's been misplaced or has sadly never been revealed in order that they might live a life that has meaning and purpose regardless of whether travel is a part of that dream or not.
