All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible. – T.E. Lawrence
MY WISH LIST & REMINDER OF ITEMS FROM THE USA
I know that anyone that has experienced any type of international travel or living abroad understands that there is just something that gives you a much greater appreciation for both the United States and conveniences of things we might have taken for granted before! Well, as you can imagine, after almost 5-years of continuous global travel, there have been several items that are often very difficult or impossible to find. Plus sadly, some of my items I left the States with have either worn out completely, been lost through thieving little leprechauns, or stolen by swashbuckling pirates! I know everyone has been victimized by these pompous eyepatch wearing hoodlums, so please have a heart, and request a second, third, or even fourth mortgage in order to help clothe me with a #ColoradoProud Denver Broncos t-shirt or other more expensive item that may or may not be bejeweled in expensive diamonds that, of course, is the NEWEST trend for backpackers' fashion. I mean c'mon I don't want to look like an idiot out here traveling. But in all seriousness, I do understand that I have created a very VERY optimistic Wish List of items that would be wonderful to receive from the United States (#Murica) and may help bring even just a small piece of the States to help me through times of feeling homesick. This is also a list to help remind myself of a growing number of items I would like to replenish as things wear out, since I left with only about three pairs of clothing items. So, after a lot of contemplating and even several personal offers, I have decided that IF ANY family, friends, or even complete strangers, surprisingly enough as it may sound that some people that have never even met me have found my website and #TravelBlog and have supported me financially, even any of you would like to help support me through this journey I would GREATLY appreciate it, first of all, and I am ALWAYS looking for ways to #PayItForward whether that be through financial contributions to individuals or organizations, complete strangers in brief one-time meetings, other travelers that are in need (which could some day be your own son or daughter, maybe even yourself), volunteering, and many of the other ways I can seek to share in the blessings that I have received myself. It may be hard for some of you to believe, but imagine wearing the same three or four pieces of clothing or material items for more than 1,500 days! Yup, that's what I've been doing so I cannot tell you that when I have received a new t-shirt it has been like #Christmas, #MyBirthday, #Winning a #Dundies, #BroncosSuperBowlChampions, and being a #LotteryWinner wrapped all into one! Since this is my #WishList I will also mention that this also serves as a reminder of items with hyperlinks of items that I may also purchase myself, but if anyone would like to help by purchasing any of the below items I would GREATLY appreciate it as I still continue to keep my material possessions to an absolute minimum. I will mention that IF there is anything not on this list that people are interested in donating and sending to me in Korea and since I continue to keep my material possession very much limited, I promise you that I WILL find an organization or someone in need to donate the item to. So if you feel so inclined to support me in this way or others, please feel free to EMAIL ME (*Please CLICK on the images below and be directed to the website that these items can be found at, I will continue to update this list as items are purchased. Thank you everyone SO MUCH in advance! :)
PRODUCT TESTING OR COMPANY SPONSORSHIP
If you are an owner of a company or a representative and would be interested in having your brand or #ProductTested accurately by a #WorldTraveler, #BudgetTraveler, a genuine #Backpacker in some of the most rugged conditions, I feel that obviously I would be an excellent candidate to do this, while providing a very accurate account of how these types of products may withstand under duress and/or promoting your brand through considering potential offers for various types of #sponsorship #opportunities #cooperations and shared ventures . Please contact me with any potential offers for me to consider by EMAILING ME your possible proposal. FINANCIAL DONATION
I was VERY reluctant to add this page, but after having several family and friends ask how they could donate to me financially, mainly around my birthday, I knew that this would be the easiest solution. First off, so there is absolutely ZERO CONFUSION about the difference between this page and how I may utilize the DONATION PAGE, I have opened up an entirely separate bank account so that the #PayPal donation buttons on each page will have the funds administered, not only to two different accounts, but also to two completely separate banks. |
